Hey guys,

Im looking for a couple of things for my 9U D6.... First off the pony motor has been removed on this old girl and I would like to adapt a newer style dry dual element filter canister off of a newer D6 in the space that the pony motor previously occupied, ill fabricate the piping but I need the filter housing (with or without a filter). With the pony motor removed I was thinking about putting an electric glow plug / intake heater in each end of the intake housing (like whats pictured) where the pony exhaust went in/out to pre heat the intake air a bit. This will only be used on its own to start the machine when it is fairly warm out, Im also installing an espar diesel fired coolant heater on it to lend a hand when its colder outside. Does anyone have any 24v preferrably or 12v heaters like the picture attached, or a recommendation ?

I have seen those on old Cummins 335 engines.

do you know the wattage of those glow plugs?
