I’ve admired that combination of 9U and chisel often! I’ve probably watched the video a dozen times in the past.
Very very nice!

I had one like that. 2 ropes, one for up, one for down. Bought at auction for $50. My back used to go out every time I used it. I finally let my son scrap it.

This one works just fine. No bad back or sore wrist from tripping the ropes. Lots of life left in this one. Tempting to prep it and give it a nice coat of JD green and yellow for the wheels, but space is tight here. Best it go to someone that can appreciate the quality of “old school” iron.

i just acquired a JD Killefer 15-20 pan breaker. going over it i noticed the wheel bearings aren't loose or wobly but there is some movement in and out on the axle. what i would like to know is there a bearing in there or a bushing? the grease is old but it was well greased .
