I acquired this parts crawler as it appears now, when buying another complete crawler that is red in color. Unfortunately I don't have any use for this and would prefer not to scrap it for value by the pound. This once belonged to and was cannibalized for spare parts by one of the last remaining farming families (established 1920) in the San Fernando Valley, California. The previous owner, in his late eighties was downsizing his farm equipment fleet. This D4 sat under a pepper tree for many years and now is located in Agua Dulce, California. No other parts other than what is seen in the photographs are available. The engine internals, cylinder head, oil pan and other exterior components are missing. The top end of the pony motor has been scavenged as well, internal components condition unknown (ports filled with debris). The shifter is stuck in neutral and no attempt has been made to check the gears. The radiator/oil cooler appears to be in good shape, unconfirmed, no obvious punctures. I've never been a good judge on undercarriage wear and will include a couple of pics of the drive gear and chain. I intend to sell this D4 whole as I don't have the time to part it out. My guesstimated weight is at least 9K. I have no means to assist loading so a hauler with a winch will be required.
