Going to be needing a Front Idler Spring for 1960, 955E Traxcavator, 12A08263, D6 #7H2445
What's that sucker weigh anyway 250-300lbs? might have to wait till I snowbird out to get one or see if I can find one locally

yes--mine lasted with 2 breaks for over 20 years on my 941B---but i was careful with that side not to hit anything with the idler

D2, D3, D4, D6, 941B, Cat 15

Worst thing is getting snow or mud packed in the rails and that puts allot of pressure on that spring, thats what happens when the pressure builds up and the sprocket wedges the material in the rail and then it snaps.

That spring is the same on D6 9U and D6 44A, so there should be many still out there. I can come up with at least 2 if you need them. I have one out now and can weigh tomorrow if you still meed one.
