WTB: D315 Upper Radiator Brackets

More

Need the 2 radiator upper bracket supports (braces) for a D315 power unit. Don't have the part numbers, but they're for the radiator on the power unit/genset version, which has a taller radiator than a D4 7U.

Replied by Fat Dan on topic Serial Number will help
If You Post a Serial Number it would really help identify engine type and application and really, really help finding the correct part numbers and parts because there are two of them (R.H. & L.H.) and they have two different part numbers.
I looked but couldn't find a top radiator support p/n for a D315 7U, but again not having the right serial or part number of your D315 I'd be guessing and you would be buying the wrong parts. My Parts Manual for the Traxcavator 955x D315 in a 12A01 - 12A08418 use the same two radiator support p/n 4H7375 R.H. & 4H7376 L.H. .... eBay would be a great place to start to look for a parts and service manual for your rig.
Good Luck

The Brace Assembly is part # 4F9466. There is only one of them.

It goes between head bolt # 16 (in the tightening sequence) and the left hand cap screw holding the elbow, part # 4F9443.

Serial number 9S12124, it has a manual pto on it, think its Twin Disc. Don't know what application it was used on originally. The output shaft on the pto has a sprocket on it, 3 chain type.

You are correct! I went back and looked around again and found the remnant of the original. It's in bad shape and needs replacing, but is the same as yours. So 4F9466 is what I need, if anybody has one.

Here is an update for you - I knew there was a reason why that brace was removed from my power unit. That part is a shipping brace as shown below.

Unless you are shipping the D315 you don't really need it

Well I'll say, I didn't know that. I thought it was mandatory, since it came with the power unit. I figured since the D4 had 2 of them supporting its radiator, the power unit D315 used them also. Learn something new every day! Thanks for letting me know.
