Looking for a crank and flywheel for a d2 5u pony. Mine is seized together I have tried everything under the sun. Thanks!

I had it in one. I got about 35 ton on it last night with about 3 heat cycles. I was worried I would break the flywheel. It looks like someone ran the thing without oil, all the bearings spun and melted. I’m wondering if it didn’t get REALLY hot and weld itself together. It took way too much to pull the gear off the other side too! The sad part is the block and everything else looks great.

i assume you are using the pull holes with bolts---when you get a full load on it, heat it again, and then take a heavy hammer and smack the flywheel a few times in a radial direction toward the crankshaft.

Its not welded - just good and tight. Had a ring gear on taper fit on the shaft of my D2 rear end. Let go at around 40 ton sounded like a 357 Magnum. Make sure the crank is safe when it lets go.
