After 15 years, I give up finding a decent TD6 or 9 from the 50's early 60's with the McCormick T-BAR blade on it.
I only know of a handful (4/5) of these machines East of the Rockies.

THE BAR IS THE SAME SIZE AS CAT, but its all built by IH. IMHO, The gauge wheel setup is better than Cat. The ripper/subsoiler is 48" tall w/adjustments. The bar mounting BRACKETS are for IH tractors with the McCormick combination carrier, farm dozer, tool bar attachment. NOT Drott, Holt, Cat, Balderson, Rome ETC.
$2000.00, if you don't want the I.H. brackets $1800.

That sure is tempting. I’m in the process of getting a T-9. Probably doesn’t have enough grunt power to handle anything, but would look nice on it. JM

Does it have the McCormick combination tool carrier trunion mounts along with the blade push arms? You disconnect, back out, turn around and back in (remove blade) to hook to the (now) draft arms. These don't swing around like Cat t-bars. McCormick combination tool carrier blade attachment extremely uncommon. If you have a Cat t-bar machine with Cat bar mount brackets everything fits.

The thing about the early IH diesel engines didn't have the horsepower (Hp) one would think the gas engine had just a few more Hp up to the early 50's
