Cat D2 40 inch gauge tractor. SN 3J7418. The original bill of sale indicates shipment with 12" Grouser Track, Belt Pulley Drive and rear power take off combination and all regular equipment, etc.
Note: now equipped with a LaPlant-Choate R21 Trail Builder Blade. SNR21-525

I am the 2nd owner. Original owner used this Cat on his family farm for crops. This Cat spent years sitting idle in a dry pole barn - as it was replaced by other field tractors. Last job, I suspect, was grading crop land for the pole barns.
The only issue I have had (in the short time I have owned this) was needing to clean the points & cap on the Mag for the gas Pony Engine.
