He has the dimensions for d2 through d8 so just has to enter the spec's into the computer, so I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem

if he would do a run on the D4 u series i would buy four. and a couple for the D2. if we could find the specs on the undercarriage gauge for the D4 i would buy some of those also. just let me know???

Thanks

Yes there is a D9 gauge also, one was for the early D9's and there's one for the 10 1/4" pitch D9 undercarriage. There is also D8 and D8H gauges.

Maybe someone with more experience can comment but I think all the d2 sprockets are the same and should also take in the 22. The d4 should cover up to the u series, the later u series might have changed but I dont know for sure.
Just so there's no confusion this is the specs we're using for the gauge.

He's going to cut 10 each for the d2 and d4. Once they're programmed into the computer he can cut them out as needed.
In regards to the other size tractors, it takes time to manually input the data so if someone wants other sizes it might cost more for the set up if it's a set of one. If there is enough interest the set up price shouldn't be a problem.

Its going to be easier for everyone if you just contact the shop.

The 4F6031 sprocket was used on all 6U and 7U tractors. Just a note there is a replacement weld on sprocket rim 5H9107 for the D4 still available from Cat for $381.38 each.
D2 rim 7H0463 but discontinued from Cat

Sounds like the sprocket gauges are going to be cut maybe this week. Powder coat next week, I'll post pictures when I get a hold of one.

I have two different types of track gauges, one painted and the other stamped, the painted is nicer looking when new, but as you can see, the stamped one, has held up much better to use and life in a tool box. The stamped ones, do not say Cat or Caterpillar on them, so I would assume they are aftermarket.

I never bothered to collect those gauges because the link dimensions, sprocket tooth profiles and pitch changed over the years except for the D2. You would have quite a collection of gauges to capture all.

Here's the prototype of the d4 and d2. The dimensions are in the cad program and can be cut as needed.
