A hydraulic ram could be added for the slide. Mine is a 1951 and the slide system works off the same pump as the power steering. Couple of mounts to weld on, a ram and double acting control valve and about 30 ft of #8 hose.

I would like to see some pics of your sliding adaption.

Dang,, I guess this thing is home made. I was wondering why there was no wear blocks on the lower slide jaws like the 99Es had. Also looked in the accessory section of the book. (no Slide ram). They did a nice job but obvious now that it is home grown. I previously had noted that one attaching eye was repair welded. Just thought it was broken some how. I have pics, now how do I post them? Have to look in to that. EDIT. Tried posting. I am computer stupid! Tried starting a new post and attaching pics. NO GO!

Just refreshing after the first of the year. It still is looking for a home that will love and care for her.

I'm not afraid of hard work; I can lay down beside it anytime and take a nap.
