1951 (I think) Caterpillar 5U D2 for sale.
Cat hydraulics with Cat angle dozer. Blade has good cutting edge. Pto. Belly pan with tow hook.
Electric start for pony motor. Generator (no idea if this works) and battery box.
Very nice set of rails....several bad rollers that are wearing the rails. Sprockets look pretty good. Idlers worn but serviceable. Grousers are pretty worn. Replaced gauges. No rock guards or track spring covers. Large diameter front idlers
6753 hours on the metter that appears to be working. Both engines start easily but the pony kicks out when throttle is pulled back, the dogs need to be adjusted I think.
This tractor is well used but there is a lot of life left in it. I got this tractor today in a trade on my D6.
Don't need a another D2.
