Oversize Pistons Wanted D2/D4 and D6 Pony Motors

Anyone have any good used (or New) pony pistons that you could part with? I'm working on small and large opposed pony motors. I've checked around the normal sources (Florin etc) and haven't scared any up. My engines have some pretty deep bore pits and I doubt that the will clean up at .020, so would prefer larger but will consider whatever you've got. Sleeving back to standard is an option, but the sleeves are more expensive than I thought.

Interested in any oversizes you might have available.

D2/D4 Part number 3B5172

D6 Part Numbers 2F3668, 8H2761, 8H2760

I have 4 D-6 Pony Pistons. 2 used and 2 new.

2 each 2F3669 used. Appear to be standard size pistons. One measures 3.1015 at the lands and 3.1180 at the skirt. The other one measures 3.1000 at the lands and 3.1180 at the skirt. I have no idea what standard pistons are suppose to measure but one seems to be .0015 larger than the other at the lands and skirts being the same.

1 each Semi-finished piston 2F 3668. It Measures 3.1930 at the lands and 3.1935 at the skirt. To be turned down up to ,060 oversized

1 each What looks like a semi-finished piston with no numbers. It measures 3.1320 at the lands and 3.1460 at the skirt. Seems to be .030 oversized.

You are welcome to any or all of these pistons since they have been setting in a cabinet for what seems like forever and I have no use for them. All I would ask is to be reimbursed shipping if they will work for you. Text or call and leave a message (I get robo calls and most time don’t answer if I don’t recognize the number)and or an address at 573 433 nine two seven seven if you are interested. Brian Boaz

Hi Team,
from memory the JP semi finished pistons may nearly get out to 0.080" o/s.--I stand to be corrected.
Scan is of pony piston sizes for the relevant O/Sizes for both Horizontal and Vertical engines.
Cheers,
Eddie B.
