I show 7H1004 block casting to be for a late D339 Industrial Engine with either a 3.875" or 4.875" thrust width.
Also used on late 47,48A D7

Hi all,

I have just rebuilt a 17A engine with the 7H1004 cast number. The block does not have the hole in the back for an accessory drive shaft like the D7E's which they require to run a hydraulic pump.

Are you sure that's not a 7H1004 block casting number and yes that is an Industrial Engine that wouldn't have the accessory drive. I can't come up with a 7H1007 number.
