I have two used but serviceable Caterpillar D2-J series parts available for anyone interested. The parts are an oil pan for the diesel engine (P/N: 5B6026, casting code: UMMOEO, indicating a fabrication date of 12/28/38) and the housing assembly (P/N: 4B4992, casting code: DUAEO, indicating a fabrication date of 9/15/38). Two other part numbers appear on the oil pan access covers: P/N: 4B4590 and P/N: 5B2488. Anyone interested can contact David in the Redding, CA area through this website, a deal for pickup can thereafter be arranged.
