I am not sure about the rules about posting something like this, but I have seen for several days a rebuilt D2 marine engine on the Seattle Craigslist/boat parts for $750. Photos look good but I dont know anything about this. I thought someone in the Pacific Northwest might find this interesting. I hope it helps. Grant.

Yes, that is the add. I dont know if it is the same as a J model or a U model, but I would think changing the externals to tractor type rather than boat type would make an economical engine. Grant.
