is he selling parts off of it or just in one piece?
I wonder if the electric starter would work on my 5U that has just a rope pull.

It should fit if you get all the mounting parts, pony flywheel and dash.

See if your current flywheel has an unused v groove, one that is not used by the governor.

no unused groove. It had a homebrew electric starter belted to the flywheel groove but I removed it because it was so haphazard. pony starts ok with the rope in warm weather but wears me out in the cold.
