i think you can still get them from Cat. i sure i seen a guy with a new at a show last year. i do you have a part number? do you need the mount as well?

I also have an original you could use as a template. Mine is showing dry rot so I don't not show it anymore, but it would make a great pattern.

Hammerblow/Snowco makes the umbrellas No.TU-56. They made them for Cat dealers. Tractor Supply sold the regular ones without any name on them.

Cat part number 187-6649 is the current umbrella. It is made by Femco. I am not sure what logo comes on them now. Not that long ago they came with the old-looking "Caterpillar Power" markings, but I believe I have also seen some with the current Cat logo. As best I can tell, the "original" ones were typically a dealer item, not produced by Cat. In the more distant past, dealers would order from various vendors and create their own design, so there was not one authentic style. You might see some with the support on top or below, and 4-sided or even 6-sided. I happened across an old canvas for Peoria Tractor and it fit perfectly on a new frame, so that is what I am currently using. If I hadn't been lucky enough to come across that one, I would have no qualms with taking a new canvas to my local screen printing shop and having something made. The lettering on the "Caterpillar Power" one does not even match any version of the Cat logo, so you have some leeway on what is "correct".
