Early 30 steering levers

More

WTB original levers for early CAT 30 transition model that was actually Best 30 castings. This would be a tail seat model. These levers both angle off to the right side of the tractor.

Please help, this is my second request. I know there must be a set out on the west coast some where.

PM or 413-529-7176.

Thanks,

This is what the levers look like-- I don't have them

Herb, I am a little confused as to what you are needing. There was an early version to the steering clutch levers that was a 1 piece casting from one end to the other. These early levers were only used on Best 30's serial number S1001-S1475. At S1476 they went to the 2 piece lever with the cast base with the inserted round rod extension. This updated part also came with an updated part number that did not change all the way through the end of the Cat 30's. I have seen and been around many of these updated levers. There are no markings or other indicators of when they were made (pre or post merger). So it sounds like you just need a set of Cat 30 orchard steering clutch levers. If so, I have a set of those.

Here is a picture of a 2 speed Best 30 with the later 2 piece lever.

Here is a picture showing the new shifter with later 2 speed transmissions. Also showing the updated 2 piece steering clutch lever.

This shows the info of when the changes to the levers happened.
