1944 Caterpillar D4, serial number 2T6585sp. Asking $5,000. Was bought new by Coast Guard in Sault Ste. Marie, MI and sold in 1971. I purchased in 2005 from another collector. It is featured in the Big Book of Caterpillar while owned by Larry Simon. It was used as a model for the ACMOC toy of this series. I have replaced the pony motor, rebuilt the magneto, and all fluids and filters have been changed. It always has been well maintained. Includes belly pan and tow hook, however blade will need new cutting edge. Three original headlights included, but not attached. Not in working order and two need new glass.
