Hey Jeff I did some investigating and the engine is in an old 212 grader but should be the same as the j series d2 with a d3400 of that would work. The owner has several old graders including a 212, a number 10 and 11 auto patrol and etc. Don't know if this helps at all but just came to mind when I read your post. If I can help let me know and I'm only half hour or so away if you need anything.

if they want to sell parts Cody that would be great and yes the pony flywheel would work from a 212 if it had electric start

I am not sure about the electric start but will check. He is a scrap guy so he would sell everything I'm sure. I have done quiet a bit of business with him and he is a good ol boy. I'll do some more research on the fly wheel and let you know.
