You would have to deal with the D4D tractor having 7/8" NF studs and the D4D winch is 3/4" NF.
Also the lower bolt pattern is different (wider) on the D4D tractor vs the D4D winch.
You would also probably have to fabricate your own drive shaft for the conversion.
If you can find a Hyster D4E or F winch they have a dual bolt pattern.

Top holes line up, not totally sure on the ones for the case top which often need to be fabricated anyway. Not a problem to have the winch stand off the mounting with an adapter plate. The two speed/low speed winch versions come that way to give clearance for the gear reduction housing.
Picture of D4E two speed/low speed showing dual bolt pattern and one spacer block in place.
Need to correct former statement. The D4E Hyster has the dual bolt pattern. The D4F is later pattern only. Tough to keep all this straight!!!!

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
