Hi all, I need a replacement brush plate and the #984 brushes that fit it (that's what came out of it and I don't have the Delco parts list for the Delco #s) for my 8F3333 generator (Delco model 1102734). Shipped to 14534

Hi Neil,
What are you worried about that brush plate is in excellent condition, just put it in some molasses for a week or so then go to fleabay stores.ebay.com/Triodiode-DC-Electric-And-Tractor?_rdc=1 as this chap has the parts you require to rebuild the generator. i have ordered from him before.regards

Thanks Daryl, do you happen to know if there's a Delco parts list for this generator on the web somewhere (my goggle searches haven't turned anything up). I'd like the Delco part #s - I have the Cat part #s already.
I'll have to contact the guy as the parts don't look exactly the same, for example the field coils have plain wire pigtails, and not the screwed terminal fitting.

As for Field coils unless they have been damaged physically you should not have to change them, the ones on his site you solder the bear wires onto the old terminals.

Thanks Daryl, much appreciated! Hi Hector, thanks for the offer but I'd like to refurbish this one as it would be a waste to throw it out for want of a couple of parts. Looks like I can get most of what I want from Daryl's link and machinerytrader
Cheers,
Neil.

Just wanted to update this to day that this generator now puts out its full capacity (~18A but my ammeter is a 30A so I can't get an accurate reading) and with the Clover DR110 electronic regulator, charges the battery very well. I have no issues at all with keeping it 6v - the pony starter works very well.
