Just out of curiosity I measured the radiator in my 17A and the measurements seem to be correct.
I wonder what application a radiator built like that would be for?
There's a mob here in Australia that builds radiators with sealing grommets on the tubes.
Supposed to be better for severe application with lots of vibration .
Sounds typical of Australian roads I work on.

Looks like a messabi to me. L and M radiator builds them. Contact them with that serial number and they can pull the drawings and build specs for it. They are a great core superb cooling. I have put quite a few in the back 637 d/e scrapers, D9 h/L, and 245 excavator. The 245 was the most impressive change on a 30 deg c day hard digging with a mass front and little to no gaps between trucks the engine would run 225-230 deg f that was with the muffler relocated outside the engine compartment. Just changed the rad and cooling dropped to 195-200 deg f on comparable or hotter days. In the scrapers there is a vshaped finned tube version that lets the grass through it instead of plugging the surface up. You can literally stick a screwdriver through the core at an angle between the fins and tubes.

Suspect it will not fit 3T as the 3T I have has the oil cooler beside the radiator.
Core width is about 27 5/8 wide.
17A core width 36 5/8 .

Thanks for the tip 657CAT. I checked with L&M radiator and yes it is a Messabi replaceable tube core. They were able to track it down by the serial # and sent me the engineering drawing for it, and it is a replacement for a Cat D7-17A radiator core..
Still for sale.
