Howdy,

I'm new to the forum, so excuse the post if this has been covered 1000 times.
I have a 1942 R4 (6G2175) that I have used for years.. It runs great and has everything except the side covers for the engine. Original OD paint with some of the US Army markings on the hood.
No idea what it's worth but thought would be the place for interested parties. Located in SF Bay Area. California.

The seals on both rear drive sprockets (not sure if that's what they are called) weep.

Dear sir....

Wife got her ring for xmas. I get another (another) tractor. Where in the sanfransisco can your (gorgeous) r4 be viewed/retrieved from;)

If it's already gone I understand but honestly if it's still there we must move fast before she changes her mind.....

I am new to the forum and thought I would get notifications if someone PM me. Anyway. I still have the r4. It's in the Santa Cruz mountains near San Jose, Ca.

It runs/starts fine and is mostly in tact. I'm no Cat expert but the tracks look to be in good shape and all the clutches, brakes winch etc operate.

My email is brush at rattlebrain dot com

Hope your wife is enjoying her ring.

Bill

This is a very nice, original tractor. brushmrw's video nicely shows its capabilities and that everything on it works as it should.

Someone should pick this one up. It is almost a twin to the 2T D4 model that the Club will be releasing early next year. You could have this tractor and have someone adapt one of our models into an R4 with the DDPCU. It would be a real easy, relatively inexpensive way to have a one of a kind model of your tractor!

Pete.

Pete

That is a nice R4 but it has been exposed to all of us for over a month. Perhaps it is priced just a bit too strongly. Has anyone made Bill a reasonable offer or is he set on his price?

Tom
