Central Illinois ( Hopedale ) looking for double scrap price for this piece of machinery. Ran when it was parked in the 70's. Good father son project, under carriage is in good shape pony motor is in place. I am gonna scrap it in January guys, seems a waste to melt it. Serial number 15a1222. Call me and come out and look it over. Willing to donate it for double scrap price to a school etc.

Man that's a good looking 8. Not to sound like a broken record but I wish that was closer.

I've been looking for an inexpensive D8 with a blown or compromised engine for a special project I've been contimplating.

I hope someone can use it, good luck.

Hey jv,

They only made 9692 of the 14a's, so they serial number listed above is a bad number.

25 ton at $30.00 a ton for heavy torching is the current price. Minus hauling charges to the scrap yard. Can't hardly pay for fuel hauling free scrap.
