Hi club members, I am after a sheave wheel for a D7 3T sheave block. The Cat part number is 1J1150 (no longer available). I have sourced the bearings through Westrac in Australia for the rebuild but have one sheave pulley flogged out on the internal bearing surface. I am after just the wheel as freight to Australia for a complete block if available is expensive.

I'm after one of the pulleys that fit into the sheave block. The internal bearing surface measurement should be around 3.8750 inch in new condition. A bit of wear would be OK as this is not critical for the rope lifting the blade in its operation.

These sheave blocks are on the front of the early dozers for raising and lowering the blade with a friction winch of the front of the crank. They are genuine Caterpillar parts. The pulley size is 9 5/8'' outside diameter, 1 1/4'' wide and a 3.870'' hole in the centre in which the bearing runs against which will be hardened. The original Cat part number is 1J1150. I am in Western Australia.

Ok. Sounds like you have a Steelweld front mounted power control unit.
I will try to have a look tomorrow.

Couple of options here!!
Haven't done any measuring yet. Probably best to give me a ring first to see if it is worth spending more time on.

I have a few options here.
I have checked out the link Old Magnet posted on the heavy equipment forum with Machinery trader who list several suppliers of pulleys (Cat 1J1150). I am awaiting a reply from them if I can get a new pulley.
The third photo you listed Andrew looks similar to the sheave block I have.
Wholland, I am having trouble sourcing a second inner cone (part No. 3F3874) for the bearing in the pulley. You have two pulleys complete, is this with the bearing? Are they new or used as I would not mind having a spare wheel on hand.
