No longer have time to restore properly. I did some minor work to get running (carb, plugs, wires, etc) and now it sits needing proper attention to finish.

Located near Palmdale, CA

Serial # 2F1625

Carb rebuilt and primary tank boiled out and treated with POR-15 tank sealer.

Have many sheet metal parts, air cleaner pieces, essentially complete.

Good runner and starts easily; drives well.

Wrong mag as shown in pictures, tracks and undercarriage are worn; have a set of rollers and idlers (more photo's) to follow.

California Desert kept so minimal deep rust, but plenty of surface as shown.

Have new CAT paint (primer and color) 2 gal each and 1 gal. thinner.

Asking $3000, but willing to be told I am way off given condition. (would appreciate advice on the same)

Nobody answered so I will give my opinion. It looks like it runs and steers good in your video, which is a big plus.

Just from what I've seen and bought and sold I think that one worth about $ 1500.00-2500.00 to the right person.

You can look at the results from the Meeder auction and get an idea what stuff is selling for. There is a post thread on here about it with a link to the auction results.

Good luck!

Unfortunately stuff like this is hard to price - its really worth whatever someone will pay. I've no real experience to say how decent that price is, but it doesn't seem unreasonable for a running working cat.

This is the wrong season to sell stuff though, so that's going to hurt you. I would try to wait until the spring and see what response you get then.

Appreciate the comments and reality check. Will be posting photo's of the other parts later today and a lower/OBO price. Moving this winter and want to give it a new home by then.

Thanks,

Paul

Just looking to move it before it gets any colder/wetter and I need to store indoors. I still haven't gotten photo's of the new(er) UC parts, but they all go with it. I think that's a fair price both buyer and seller given the condition and state it's in. Come drive it onto your trailer this weekend!

Just off hand do you know the approx weight of the machine?

Also how is the machine power for its age? does it have good power or is the engine in need of an overhaul? Your video was great and it sounds good.

I saw somewhere that the narrow gauge 22 weighs #6,200. I weighed my belt pulley drive at #160. So this 22 should weigh #6,360 +/-.

Pete
