D2 3J for sale in Texas was created by JonB

D2 3J796 for sale in Houston area. Farm tractor is complete with many tools, track grease pump, some spares. It got wet this spring and needs a new home and some prompt TLC. I have a freshly rebuilt mag, courtesy of Mainely Magnetos, that's never been re-mounted. Tin is good. Tractor and pony ran fine before getting wet. This Cat has been in the family since 1940. I have papers, manuals, history. $2500. You come get it from my barn.

Someone needs to drain all the chambers and then tow it around riding the brakes and operating the main and steering clutches to dry it - maybe throw some solvent or other water-soaking-up agent to get the moisture out of it quickly before the rot sets in. Drain oils, refill with cheap stuff and turn it over to flush any remaining moisture out. I'm most concerned about the crank and cam, and fuel pumps.
