Road trip for me. Not to far. Ever since she drove Garlic Mom's Debby thinks they are cool.

It could be a twin to Garlic Mom's. Even has a similar, homemade, neat looking toolbox. If you get it, we'll start watching for a potato planter for you and she and Garlic Mom can team up and start contract planting. That'd be a sight to see!

I can say one thing, they won't have to worry about crows coming in after to eat the seeds. I'd say all the chatter coming from the tractors would run those old crows off! (See, you thought I was going to get in trouble with a comment about two old crows, didn't you? I stayed well away from that dangerous area!)

Pete.

We have a old planter and also one of the first PTO diggers made. I never thought of it but that would be a cool use for it.

The Hi Ten went to Illinois for $8,100 or so. The decent D4 ag tractor went to Pryor Lake, MN for $4850 or so. The owners descendants did very well on everything today. Not sure if the rest of the items was out of town money or the fact that the local area has there best crops in history this year. Feed sacks and flour sacks were hitting the $40.00 each range. They sold a few totes full one at a time. A lady said that purses made out of them were all the rage now. Old J.D. tractors went for 1.5 times the average price of them up here. I got good gas mileage on the way home with an empty truck but met a fellow ACMOC member from Texas and also had a good visit with my cousin whom farms close by.

Sorry you didn't get the 10. Cool little tractors!

They may have good crops but corn prices are still in the toilet! Beans are OK but not great, bout 8.50 local before dockage! Lotta guys here are hooked on the corn bean rotation and there's a lot of corn around here. According to the USDA break even on corn is 3.50 to 4.50 depending if the land is rented or not. Local here is about 2.85 before dockage. Some of the locals here are going to have trouble getting operating loans this next spring according to my banker.

But now you have the cash to buy that grader I sent you the PM about! If yer running short on room I'll let you store it here........I did think the wood cab was kinda cool!
