I have never been around a U series D4, but:

Are you sure that is a D4, it has all the markings of a D6, including but not limited to the seat decal. It has two oil filters, and it looks like it has 6cyls.

What is the deal with that Johnson bar?

Think maybe he got the pictures messed up - 4th looks like a D4 and is definitely a different tractor than the others.

Sorry to everyone, this is what you get when you let your wife do your business while you're at work. HA! I was as surprised at this ad as everyone else was. Please disregard ad.

I hope this doesn't turn into the reverse of a shirt I saw at the Brownsville show last weekend. The shirt was pink, worn by a nice lady and said "Will trade husband for tractor. Husband doesn't work, but tractor must. Will contribute cash to close deal."

jthornton - is there a hidden message here?

They look like nice tractors anyway.

cojhl2 - I think what you're asking about isn't the Johnson Bar (forward reverse lever), I think it is the hydraulic control for the blade. I saw your comment and first thought the same thing, but looking more closely, I see the forward reverse lever nearer the camera, next to and in line with the gear shift lever where you'd expect it to be on a U series D6.

Pete.

Hey, Lets nick pick some more. The L-shaped tall lever operates the blade. The shifting lever is next in line and has no ball then behind it, is the Johnson bar with the ball.

I did not see the lady in the pink shirt at the show but that was a good one!
