Cheers Dan

I have an early D337 engine, unknown serial number. I can only find a military rebuilders tag dated 10/63. Head casting is 3H5553. Ed

I know a fellow that had a completely rebuilt spare one in his shed. I can contact him and see if he still has it and is willing to part with it. Shipping may get a bit pricy to downunder though.

I show 3H5553 to be a cylinder head for a D326 engine in a DW-15.

I show 3H5553, aka, 4H768, used on the 22B, 23B, 24B series which use the D337, and 25B series D326.

And 7M8149 is a part of head assembly 7M8150, crosses to 1M3507, 5M8508, and 7M224, used on the D337F and D326F, and is correct for the 86E. I do not see any cross to the 3H5553.

Off the Net I see 1M0838, 5H4232, 5H8300, 7M8149 as being part numbers or casting numbers for the DW-21.
Looks like the D337 is a roots blower engine, the D337F is turbo.
