Here are 2 different manufactured gages. 1 looks to be a stewart warner and the other is more common. Might be US gage Co. but no marks. As you can see the SW goes to 220 and the other to 240.

Thanks for posting these, Wally. They're very interesting and it is a great help to have a resource out there like you who has original parts for reference on stuff like this.
I notice that the needles on both are slightly different shape, but similar. I also notice that the one on the right, which reads higher to 240 degrees also starts its scale at 100, whereas the one on the left, which ends its scale at 220 starts at 40.
Knowing the different variations and details of scales, markings, needles and such will really help us in our reproduction project.

Thankyou Wally, I've been chatting to Garlic Pete the past few days about the new ACMOC gauges and I reckon I'll wait till the new ones are available from the Club for sale seeing as to rebuild a old gauge will cost anywhere from $350 to $600.
