Hey Erik, we brought it home last night. Not for me though. I just helped load it. My friend had mentioned a few days before your post that he wanted a D4. I told him of a free one about 225 miles away. One call was all it took. I would have liked to bring the owner's Lamborgini home also!

You've got that right, Erik. Since it was going to be stored at my place I made him promise that, when he retired and moved away, he would take it with him! It has stuck steering and main clutches. We had to tow it about 150 yards (with a 22, mind you, but fortunately it was a down grade) to get it loaded. At first we thought we weren't going to be able to move it. The 22 just spun the tracks in place. The owner provided an assist with his small tractor and helped negotiate a 90 degree turn onto a berm.

that's a really nice looking d4, the blade doesn't look like it has seen much use and the tracks and undercarriage look very decent as well. Good Save!
