Hi Bellyman, Just for reference William Adams show those top carrier rollers in stock at $273.00 each, just for the shell nothing else, have you tried Tilly's because I'm sure there are aftermarket one's around, Paul Moore in Toowoomba might have some good used one's laying under a mango tree, same with your pilot exhaust pipe though my 7U parts book shows at least 2 different pipes used depending on the serial number of your tractor, where are you located.

I suspect finding a good straight hood will be a challenge but I'm usually wrong, I'm sure a good Sheet Metal person will knock one up if you have the specs, the blue prints are available through your local Cat Dealer.

Hood is easy to reproduce having simple rolled sides and nothing fancy like turned over bottom edges. Cost me 300 to get one done in Tassie. Would be cheaper anywhere else. I think there is a slight taper front to back but you can get away with a straight profile off the sheet metal roller, and simply cut the bottom edge to the create the taper needed. I cut the holes with a hole saw and riveted the engine curtain brackets off the old one onto the outer edges. But you could leave off the brackets as they are not used in Aus. Up to you. Finding a good second hand straight one will be almost impossible and trying to straighten a bent one is a waste of time and money.
