What do you guys normally use for those four rubber pads underneath the gas tank on a ten? Cat shows them as discontinued.

Jamie,
I found an example of the parts you are looking for......kerosene lamp wick approx. 1-1/8" wide will be the same. The original in the picture is all cotton.
Hope this helps.....Bill

Hey Bill,

That's interesting. The pads I removed from this machine were rubber so I ASSUMED they should be rubber. There I go assuming again.

Jamie,
I just happened upon those two items and now they are on the shelf for reference. I found the lantern wick on Ebay. Bought it by the foot.....pretty cheap.

My Ten also had rubber installed.

Have a good evening....Bill

Bill,

Did you replace the rubber to stay original or does the wick work better than rubber?

I replaced the rubber with the cotton pad. My tank seem to fit better as well.
