I need a Generator setup for my 1950 D2 was created by WendellKelch
I got a bunch of help on here a while back.I need some more now.I need the setup to put a generator on a 1950 D2 . Also who makes the best battery boxes for it? Any help would be great! Wendell 513-543-9477

Wendell, you may have already seen this. Looks mighty pricey.
Caterpillar D2/D4 A.B. 6 volt Gen. & Reg. if the link won't work.
You may need the accessory drive also ?
Hope y'all have got time to come look thru my junk this year.

Try Phillips Tractor Parts and Service in Gaston, Oregon. PH#(503)662-3929. I saw a pic of their tractor bone yard and they had quite a collection of 40-50's Cats. Mind you, this was at least 5-6 years ago.

I have nothing but a flat plate # 5f3162 I need the whole 5f1116 group .The one on Ebay is just the gen and no gearbox and is a little pricey! I have been calling that yard but so far no answer. Thanks For the help! Wendell
