Hey Team,

I'm looking to add a tilt cylinder on my cable dozer. Two valves or three would be great, but I'm looking to see whats available. Single valve will do it.

Hey OldMagnet,

Will a Hydraulic system off a D6c 74a fit on a D6b 44a?

will a 9u hardnose and pump fit? and did they offer the system with two valves? i can say that i have only ever seen one valve on the 9u hydraulic systems.

Well, not exactly, the 44A uses as dash mount hydraulic tank and the gear drive pump mounts on the back side of the front timing gears.
The 74A uses a different part number dash tank (similar) and the splined drive pump mounts to the RH rear of flywheel housing.

I'd say no, the front drive arrangement that drives the pump was dropped when they went to the D333A engine.

The #46 Hydraulic Control (D6 U models) could be had with a "bag of snakes" dual diverter arrangement that allowed shifting between two circuits but was still a one valve system.

I like that. A very apt and descriptive term for some of the hydraulic systems I've seen.

Pete.
