Looking for 0S-1012 springs for several gas Cats 20, 30, and believe 60. Springs used in track rollers and idlers on different models. I have scurried around and collected one here and there and made several parts contacts already, last step here before the spring shop gets the order. Please PM or email me if any are availiable or a past source someone has used.

Cat shows $5.12 but not showing availability. do you have an old one for a pattern or maybe (pulling teeth) get a print through Cat?

Yes, they have been discontinued throught Cat, I have located a few down the line and purchased them. Have some crazy quotes from 8.00 to 150.00 a spring at the moment for companies that claim they have produced them in the past. Somehow the spring crosses over to a very important aircraft spring, one quote was a small quantity over 4,000.00 cause they are so proud of them. Just checking here before I take info to local spring shop.

At the risk of beating a dead horse.. have you verified their inventory?

Yes I have, said they had 500 ordered some and they cancelled order saying they only had two, ordered two and they cancelled order saying they had no stock at all. So struck out there wondering where 500 springs disappeared to. Many parts houses have said they were in stock ordered them and later contacted explaining how their inventory was off, and can not help. Thank you tho

Try this outfit....I have had good luck but remember they are aftermarket items.

Had a similar story with them, had several orders cancelled due to incorrect inventory. They also have none in stock.

Thank you, I have also tried them. One or two suppliers had a limited quantity some were in fact used not new. Seems that a lot of these companies are selling the same part being shipped from the same warehouse so the amount of available springs is deceiving. Seem to be reason I have had several cancelled orders so far.
