Wrong serial number quoted for that tractor, 270hp number given, it is only a 235hp, I would guess an 8,000 serial number would be about right, not 18,000.

Yeah, early 60's 235 hp also the carrier rollers stands give it away. I had a 64' and the stands were turned around on it

7U I believe they changed to make the rollers less vulnerable to rocks etc, must have changed 62' or so. Swing frames could have been changed also. You might want to take a look at the machine, fenders straight, roller guards are all there, only thing is I don't see the 8D batteries for the direct start? Pretty clean old girl

Carrier roller mounts changed @ 46A3889 and 36A3500, both in 1961.
D8H 46A1 to 46A34086 produced from 1959 to 1974 with 225hp to 46A3043, 235hp 46A3044 to 46A12884, 270hp 46A12885- up, Power Shift
Blade hydraulics went to fender mount at 46A10725 (1965) as close as I can tell.
