Hello,
I am listing this for my father-in-law who is not very internet savvy. He has a real antique for sale.

It's a 1938 D2 CAT SERIAL #3J524. Located in Northern California.
It was running the last time they parked it, but that was about 4-5 years ago when he got a new one.
He used it primarily for vineyard work. Pony motor did not work when last running. He is hoping to get
$1,500 for the antique if nothing else, I think he is open to all offers. He is starting to get rid of things he has
been hanging onto for years.
E-mail me if you are interested and he can give you any additional information
you need. <a href="This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." target="_blank"> You can also text me at 707-489-3835.

Thank you.

Couple of interesting items about that unit:
- has a later model manifold on it using pony exhaust for heat - that came in at 3J4615. Might have been retrofitted
- oil filter doesn't look stock with that top on it and the pipe coming out the top

Cheers,
Neil

If I remember correctly that is the early stock one that had the bypass mounted above the primary. When there was the thread on oil system conversions a few years ago there was a lengthy discussion and that one got mentioned.
