Hi Im looking for a pair of 1961 Cat D4C sprockets , my outer rings are good but my centers are bad does anyone know where I can get a pair of these or know anyone tht has a pair that they would part with ? Any help would be greatly appricated .

Looks like the sprocket will interchange with a 78A1 - 2523 if you change to duo-cone seals. Part # 4K6048 but there doesn't seem to be any of those around either.

I'm pretty sure the D4D sprockets will interchange if you upgrade to duo cone seals as OM says, but I'd be concerned that if the sprockets are buggered there is a good chance that the splined hubs they press on to are also worn.

As the OP stated, his sprocket rim is ok but centers (splines) are bad. Probably the hubs are bad as well.

Once you get past s/n 2523 sprocket, hub and dead axle part numbers start changing but there is a field change over that covers dead shaft and hub.
