Anyone interested or know what to do with a cat 941b track loader that no longer runs. Am a homeowner and bought to clear land. Something happened to engine and no longer runs. Ran great when working. Sweet for clearing trees. Sorry don't know more but am no mechanic. Want to give it a new home now and make a little if I can

Engine seems to be seized up. Was running good. A hydraulic line started leaking. It sat for about three months. I got the hydraulic line fixed and started to use it for a few minutes when I noticed a knocking noise that was not normal. Stopped and checked all fluids ... Engine oil was low so I added and didn't run any more till a mechanic friend came by to listen. He said it didn't sound too good so I tried to drive it to top of hill to get it out of the way. It stalled and won't start back up. Hopefully this helps. I will be glad to answer any more questions to the best of my knowledge
Undercarriage is probably about 30%

well that doesn't sound too good! unless you can find someone needing specific parts its probably only worth around scrap price---its a 12 1/2 ton machine

Have you decided on what to do with this machine? I have a 941B and might be interested in some parts if you decide to part it out prior to scrapping, if that's the plan
