Hello, does anyone have a LeTourneau CCU that fits a Cat Sixty that they are selling parts off of? I am in need of one cable sheave and pin. There are 4 on a unit and all appear to be the same size. I cans send pix if needed. Thank you. John @ 314-651-2427

John can you measure the OD of the sheave, the width of it and the bore of the thru hole you need? I have a LeT CCU here I'd check to see if mine would fit and I have a few other sheaves here that I may be able to match something up for you. I'm guessing you use 1/2" cable but correct me if that is not true.

Jim, this is what I came up with on dimensions of the sheave and pin:
Sheave--9 1/2" dia. X 1 3/4" wide. 1/2 cable
Stepped pin--3 1/4" long, 3" large dia., 2 3/4" small dia.
Appreciate your help. John

John I been away for a couple days, I will check it out and get back to you. I don't think my pins are stepped, I have a cat sheave that will probably work for you, I know it's 9 1/2" diameter and 1 1/2" wide I think, I will measure the thru hole in it, it has a USA made roller bearing in it too, with grease holes thru the inner race to allow it to be lubed from the end of the pin via a grease fitting. Do you have the pin for your cable control or do you need one?

Joe, I need both a sheave and a pin. All 3 remaining pins have a grease fitting on the top of the pin (large diameter). Pin has a large cotter pin that retains it and keeps it from spinning. The hole for the cotter pin is through the large diameter of the pin. Thanks, John

John the LeT sheaves I have are larger than that. I do however have a Cat sheave that I think could be made to work. The sheave in these pictures is 9 3/4" diameter, 1 3/8" wide with a 2 1/4" ID bearing in it, you would likely need a pin made for your application. Sorry I took a bit to get back to you, I have been hunting a lot and not in the shop much. I have a small machine shop on the side and could make you a pin too if you were so inclined. Let me know what you think.

Joe can you call me on my cell? I would like to talk to you about making a pin and possible sheave. My number is 314-651-2427. This is not an urgent matter. Call me at your leisure. If you want me to call you, just post your number. Thanks, John
