Manulathe Perfect Circle piston regroover cutting bits

I just bought a old Manulathe piston re-groover cheap off Fleabay USA so I could clean up piston ring lands and the unit arrived in my mail box yesterday, it has 5 cutting tips including 1/8" but I'd like to add the cutting tips for 5/32", 7/32" and 1/4" ring lands, does anyone have spare cutters for sale or can suggest where I could buy them?

One of these days I'll lash out and buy a proper lathe, but in the mean time I think this jig will be handy for cleaning up old lands.
Thanks
Mike

Instructions should tell you how to have the cutters ground for the Cat rings. I have not been able to buy ready made cutters for my unit either.

Hi Pete, the instructions that came with it were only 3 pages and only cover how to set it up and the bit numbers for the different size lands, nothing about how to have them ground.

Thanks for the link Pete, I wonder is it possible to use a smaller bit in the manulathe but do 2 cuts to get the final land width you need?
Regards
Mike

I don't see a problem there as long as you follow the cutting bit pattern.
