I have three Cat Ten rods and two pistons available for shipping. Actually I have three pistons but one of them is a bit leaky (It has no top).

I think they are standard diameter pistons. I'll check. I guess they should be stamped if they are oversize.

I found a note on them that says they are .040" oversize. I can mike them to be sure if you want to provide me with the diameter of the .060" oversize piston.

Sorry, the pistons are standard.
There are rods with the pistons if you need rods.

as the early pony engines are basically one half of either a Ten, Fifteen or Twenty Tractor engine, in the scan below these sizes are for the standard oversizes offered in the past in the Cat System.
You can buy the pistons semi-finished and get a few more thou out of your bores.

Here in Australia we can get semi finished pistons from JP Pistons in Adelaide South Australia.

I seem to remember Al Smith fitted Farmall H pistons in a 10, I believe they had to make new rod bushings and bore the block.

They would be much easier to get

I remember a while ago Cysco on here toyed with the idea of fitting new Farmall H pistons in a Ten engine. I don't know if he ended up doing it but I do remember there were a few fitment issues that popped up; they were around .060" taller than the original pistons when installed, and the piston pins were a bit bigger than the Cat Ten ones, but I believe it was decided that the difference was slight enough that machining the pin bushings larger would've been do-able. There was also talk of possibly machining down the piston crowns some to avoid increasing the compression ratio to the point of adding unwanted stress on the old engine, but I think that's about as far as it went.
