I'm selling my 1954 D6 9U. I purchased this dozer about 5 years back to do some clearing around the farm. Pretty much did all I need to do with it. The first couple years were spend doing an in-frame rebuild (new cylinder sleeves, rings, rod bearings, machined head with all new valves, seats, springs, etc.. Also installed new injectors while had the head apart. Probably only about 30 hours on it since the rebuild The dozer was converted to a 24 volt starter and pony was removed. I still have the complete pony motor, but the valves are locked/rusted together. Up to the buyer if they want it or not. The undercarriage is about 30 - 40% from what I can tell (not an expert on measuring, just know there is still a lot of adjustment left). Does have a small oil leak from somewhere around the clutch housing (wet clutch), goes through about a quart every 2 - 3 hours, not enough to be a concern. It could also benefit from having new fuel filters. they are about due. Overall it is in pretty good shape. Perfect for keeping brush back around the farm or finishing off as a show piece. email for more pics. I've invested about $9K over the years into it, asking $6500. Located in Bear Creek, NC (about an hour south of Greensboro) Contact Mark: 919-930-9200
