The reason for my post. I have a 1970 Cat D6 dozer with a 3306 engine. I no longer have use for this dozer and need to find it a new home. The engine is in great shape and have considered pulling and using it in another piece of equipment, scraping the dozer. But I thought I would try here first to see if anyone might be interested in the dozer as is. Like I said the engine is in great shape the transmission will not shift. Could be something simple as just changing the fluid the transmission or final drive. But I have little time and just need to move it. If someone has any ideas, please let me know.

Need to know where your at and maybe some pics if you can. Distance is everything when it comes to buying equipment. That will help you sell it quicker.

serial number would help also

This dozer is located north of Stephenville, Texas about an hour west of Fort Worth. Serial number is 96J1766.

96J1766 is a 1970 D5 tractor with D333c engine.
The 3306 engine did not appear in the D5 until s/n 96J3588.
