I'm in need of the front engine compartment tins and side curtains, firewall, rear fenders and operators station. My dad and I picked one up that runs well for very cheap but the rest of it is ugly. We would like to try to save it if it is possible. I guess we are looking pretty much for a parts tractor with a locked engine. I'm located just outside of Albuquerque.

ronb-

I'll be making out an order with George today at the show. I'll be glad to pick up his parts list for a PV 15 and scan it. I'll send it to you but it may be late next week when I get home again. They don't do anything over the internet that I am aware of so this should help you.

Do you have any of the pieces that you listed that you could use as templets to make new ones? The previous owner of my FIFTEEN made his own by doing this so they came with the tractor when I bought it.

Thank you Jan. I don't have any straight pieces. The fenders are a little wadded up, and one tin is missing because the track was lose at one time and cracked the fire wall. Someone was hard on this little guy some time in its life

O.p- I sent you a private message. Since you are so new here, I don't know if you checked them yet or not. I would encourage you to post 2 or 3 pictures of your tractor so us other members could see what might be needed, easier than you trying to describe every little detail.
The other thing I consider mandatory is if you haven't yet, buy a service and parts book reproduction from Jensales. That will help considerably, and aids communication of what parts you are looking for by part number.

Also you might want to decide what level you wish to refurbish your tractor to. If it's running and working well, you may want to use serviceable used pieces to put it back together, then decide if you want to repaint or not. This would save money over using all new pieces and going for a concourse restoration, on a tractor that is missing lots of pieces.
Some of my tractors I have the most fun with are good running, original or unrestored ones. Think rat rod.

Congrats on the tractor and have fun!

Tailseat 15

That is good advice you offered on getting the manuals.

I didn't see you at the SM show and hope I did not miss you if you were there. There were a lot of tailseat machines of various sizes that would have inspired you on your project tractor restorations. I talked to Willy and mentioned you but he did not seem to remember you or your grandfather. I'm sure he would like to chat with you if you get a chance.

Try hard to get down for next year's show. This one was outstanding and I am sure next year will be even better!
