These guys have head and manifold gaskets!

they also have complete gasket kits for most if not all early cats.
I have used them on most of my projects, it is nice to reach in a box and pull out a correct gasket to keep working.
Anyone can make gaskets but sometimes they can be time consuming to produce.

I highly recommend them.

I got a call from Oregon. They are still looking for a pattern to make the gasket. Have to wait a few more weeks.

Any notes on torque for nuts on head and sequence?

This Chart? I don't think I ran mine up to 90 ftlbs? I believe I stopped at 75 ftlbs as they were lubricated. Can't remember for sure but mine never leaked. If I did run them to 90 ftlbs it was because I used hardened steel washers between the nut and the casting.
edb says 57 ftlbs and Bruce through a scan with inch/lbs on it. That sheet looks like the one I used, disregard the 2 torque vales above, just follow the tightening sequence.

Actually I want to know is that an Olson gasket? Last one I ordered was all black, no sealant around the cylinders or whatever that is.

i agree with Jeff, if that is an olsen head gasket they have greatly improved.

Yes, that is Olsons. They are getting away from the previous durabla high temp paper head gaskets. The new gaskets are a multi-layer sandwich type gasket with the copper wrap around the combustion areas. The huge benefit of the new gasket design is that it is thinner than the old all paper design. They are not available for all cats yet. They are swapping them over as demand allows them to set up for the tooling change.
