Gday

Have a mate looking a complete equalizer spring for a aussie built D5 54J. He has tried tillys with no success. I guess this would be the same spring used in the D6B tractor as they virtually become the D5?

Thanks
Billy

Hi Billy, have You tried Paul Moore in Toowoomba, 0402071589 . Dobinson's Spring Works in Rockhampton ,Qld [ 07-49277444 ] could I expect easily Make one , But would probably need the Old one for a pattern ,. has your Mate Broken His or Does his Old One Just need a Reset ? Dobinson's recently made Me a New Main leaf for an R2W and That was a $100 plus Freight so a new Full spring for a D5 I imagine could easily cost a Grand . LJ

I reckon David Tilyard in Tassie would have one and he's usually reasonably priced - as is Paul Moore so I hear when compared to his neighbour:0.

There are pictures of what happens when there is nothing to keep the front of the power unit down and they are scarey.

As a kid i never even thought of the issue, but now frankly it scares me. Does this happen much and if it does what kind of warning do I get? You know like broken leaves etc.
